Chapter 02 · Engagement 01 · The Founder's Build

One team.
Four pillars. Thirty days.

For founders who are ready to move and don't have a quarter to spare. We collapse strategy, brand, systems, and launch into a single thirty-day window — led by a senior operator, supported by a matched bench. Built to be handed off and operated.

WHO IT'S FOR

Pre-launch · pre-seed.
Founders assembling the company for the first time.

For founders who want one team to land all four pillars instead of stitching vendors together. Not "everything a company will ever need" — a working foundation the team can actually run. Deep category strategy, extensive product engineering, and mature ops maturation happen after, usually via a Retainer.

SIGNALS THIS IS THE RIGHT FIT
  • You're pre-launch, or two weeks from it and nervous.
  • You have the idea and the capital, but no operating scaffolding.
  • The brand, the product, and the go-to-market are all still drafts.
  • You need a foundation you can hand to a future team and have them run it.

Chapter 03 · The Four Pillars

Strategy. Systems.
Brand. Launch.

Every Founder's Build commits to the same four pillars — diagnosed, built, and delivered in sequence. One team lands all four; the team is handed a foundation they can operate, not four disconnected deliverables.

PILLAR 01

Strategy &
Positioning.

Discovery, market scan, positioning spine, pricing hypothesis, and the written strategy brief that anchors every downstream decision in the build.

WEEK 01 · DIAGNOSE & POSITION
PILLAR 02

Systems &
Operating Model.

Operating cadence, tooling stack, decision surface, and the internal structure the team will run on after handoff. The scaffolding inside the brand.

WEEK 02 · SYSTEMS
PILLAR 03

Brand
& Web.

Identity system, messaging architecture, and the site / primary surfaces the market will meet on launch day. The face of the foundation.

WEEK 03 · BRAND & WEB
PILLAR 04

Go-to-Market
& Launch.

Channel sequencing, content pipeline, measurement loop — and a live first launch, with the team in the seat. The motion the foundation runs on.

WEEK 04 · GO-TO-MARKET
04
Chapter 04 · The 30-Day Rhythm

Four weeks.
Four surfaces.

The build runs as four weekly sprints, each closing on a working surface the team can see, walk through, and pressure-test before the next sprint opens. Daily async; weekly leadership review; no scope creep without a signed change.

CADENCE · 30 DAYS

Daily async.
Weekly review.

Senior lead in the chair, 3–5 cross-functional specialists on the bench. Communication runs through one portal — documents, updates, conversations — so nothing ages out in a thread or gets lost between tools.

Chapter 05 · What's Included

What lands
by day thirty.

A working foundation, not a deck. Every deliverable below is built to be operated by the client team after handoff — walked through, edited, extended. If it can't be walked through, it isn't finished.

DELIVERABLE 01

Positioning & strategy brief

The written spine of the company — who it serves, what it sells, why anyone should care.

DELIVERABLE 02

Operating manual

Cadence, tooling, decision surface — the scaffolding the team runs on after handoff.

DELIVERABLE 03

Full brand identity system

Logo, marks, type system, color, voice — designed to be extended, not just used.

DELIVERABLE 04

Primary website build

The site the market meets on launch day, on a stack the team can edit without us.

DELIVERABLE 05

Go-to-market plan

Channel sequencing, content pipeline, measurement loop — and a 90-day post-launch roadmap.

DELIVERABLE 06

Messaging architecture

The narrative spine the team uses across the site, the sales motion, and the content engine.

DELIVERABLE 07

Written handoff package

Documentation, walkthroughs, and the open-questions log resolved before sign-off.

DELIVERABLE 08

30-day aftercare

A paid-for aftercare window to catch the edges the live system surfaces after handoff.

Chapter 06 · Common Questions

Things founders
ask before applying.

The questions that come up before someone fills out the application. Short answers here; the long answers live in the consultation.

Q · 01Is thirty days really enough?+
For the pillars we commit to — yes. The Founder's Build is not "everything a company will ever need." It's a working foundation: positioning, operating cadence, brand, a primary surface, and a launched go-to-market motion. Deep category strategy, extensive product engineering, and mature ops maturation happen after — usually via a Retainer.
Q · 02What's the application process?+
A short form below, followed by a 30-minute consultation. If we're a fit on both sides, the engagement is scoped and a start date is set inside the same week. We hold a small number of Founder's Build slots open at any time; not every applicant is matched.
Q · 03What if I've already done a Verdict?+
If the Verdict closed with a Founder's Build recommendation, and the engagement is booked within thirty days of the readout, the $500 Verdict fee is credited against the Build. The intake call is shorter — the senior chair has already met the business.
Q · 04Who's actually on the team?+
A senior lead — the person who took your consultation — runs the engagement end-to-end. The supporting bench is matched to your build: typically a strategist, a brand director, a web lead, and a launch operator, with one or two extras pulled in as scope dictates.
Q · 05What if scope changes mid-engagement?+
Scope changes are explicit, written, and signed. We'd rather flag early and re-scope than absorb drift and deliver something the original brief didn't promise. Minor adjustments inside the original intent are absorbed; structural changes become their own line item.
Q · 06What happens at day thirty?+
A formal handoff — walkthrough, written package, open questions resolved before sign-off. Thirty days of aftercare to catch edge cases as the live system meets reality. Most teams either step into a Launch Retainer at that point or return for a second engagement inside twelve months.
07 / GET STARTED

Idea to launch-ready
in thirty days.

The signature engagement. One senior lead, a matched bench, four weekly sprints, a working foundation at the end. Apply below — or, if you'd rather start smaller, the Verdict is a $500 written diagnostic with the option to credit against the Build.
